I live in Austin, a city known for its well-educated, music-loving, fit citizenry. It’s one of the few places in America where you can go to your son’s U-9 soccer game and both of the the dad-coaches are wearing NPR t-shirts.
Even as the only person in Austin who doesn’t listen to NPR (or any radio for that matter), I have been following their exercise playlists for a few years. I thought I should make you aware of their options as a follow up to the What’s Your Beat? post from last week.
The NPR playlists are quite varied, both in musical style and cadences. There should be something there to suit almost every taste and workout. I’d love to hear from you if you try these out.
