On Tuesday, 3rd February, I will be participating in a teleconference from 10-11EST about Functional Fitness.  Although tailored to exercises for perinatal women, many of the body awareness and alignment exercises I’ll discuss are useful for everyone.  Even if you feel like you don’t have time to devote to overhauling your fitness plans, paying attention to ways that will make your muscles stronger and your body better able to handle everyday situations and stresses will reap benefits.  This teleconference is conducted through Pampered Pregger & Beyond, which has a vast offering of perinatal experts on hand to dispense advice.

For those of you in the Central Texas area, Mommy2B Austin is a fantastic resource.  It is a concise, thorough directory of perinatal resources.  You can also visit the Mommy2B website and blog for plenty of information to make your pregnancy more enjoyable.

Because I believe wholeheartedly in the importance of continuing education, I’m going to a workshop in a few weeks to improve my social media and blogging skills.  Ultimately, I’d like to better share resources and insights so that I become a better steward of wellness.
