Oftentimes, life doesn’t go how we plan. We get sick. People disappoint us. Birds poop on our newly-washed car.
And, yet, it is how we react to the learning curve of life that matters. It is in these moments of frustration and challenge that we can decide to think wider and deeper and more broadly than we have before. These stumbling blocks are opportunities for creativity, chances to prove that our very-well-thought-out-Plan-A wasn’t the end all and be all of our existence.
Taking time to stop myself from wallowing in negativity is a first step. Turning around and choosing to be creative and positive and persistent is the second. Knowing that I can overcome obstacles– both those that I created and that the universe handed me– is the greatest power I possess.
Good health and great happiness to you.
